J was having issues connecting and we just upgraded to see if that would resolve them.  Backups were made (and have been kept current.)

Minecraft Server back up

Server should be back up and operational.  Same bat time.  Same bat channel.

Minecraft server DOWN

The PC the Minecraft server is hosted on is having hardware issues and may not be online.  J, T, and I are looking into alternatives.  So far backups seem to have been functioning correctly so your creations are safe.

I'll post again when we have something up and running

Minecraft 1.9-pre3

Server has been backed up and upgraded to 1.9 pre 3.

1.9 prerelease

I'm updating the Minecraft server to 1.9_pre.  Hopefully we won't see too many game crashes but i've got a backup of the server as of 5:45 today so we can always revert.  Don't get too attached to the stuff you build in the first 24 hours after the update.  We may be up for a whole new round of bugs and crashes.  Jumping now gives you experience so we may have even bigger issues out of the whole exp orb server crash issue...

Recent server resets

@biohzrdprincess and co were having trouble with the server bugging out on them.  We tried to roll back everything under the sun but ultimately we ended up having to revert the server a couple of days to keep it stable.  We think the ultimate cause was experience orbs bugging out but cannot confirm.

Minecraft 1.8_2

Server has been updated.  Unfortunately I had to revert to a backup that was made at 4 am on the 12th.  The world file from last night was bugged out (probably due to exp orbs.)  The server is currently up and running and should be available for all to use.  A backup will be made at 4 am and backed up on 9/14.

Death and I backed up the old world file and converted the server over to 1.8 pre release... we just couldn't wait.  You can get the pre-release here:http://www.minecraftforum.net/news/214-want-to-play-18-early-heres-how/

The jar file you download goes here ->C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin

It will replace your current minecraft.jar

get on mumble if you want/need help.  We will decide later if we want to switch back to our original world or start over...

Minecraft Server Backups

The minecraft server at 184.58.3.81 is set to backup automatically to subhuman.dyndns.info every night at 4AM server time.  During this time the minecraft server will be down for about 20-40 minutes depending on bandwidth and what not.  You can access the current nightly backup of the minecraft server anytime by going to http://subhuman.dyndns.info and clicking world files.

Point Insertion

This is primarily an info hub for my growing circle of gaming friends.  As our circle grows it's gotten harder and harder to get relevant information (mumble, minecraft server IPs) out to everyone.  Thus here we are.

I'll be posting information about the status of our servers, backup schedules and other such useless info.
